Theycontinued to pass and counter-pass eachother, after severalcontacts the Belgian Porsche of KCMG ended with a spin by the Risi’s Ferrari thattookadvantages of it with the smoking wheels, all of that just in front of HélioCastroneves and Ricky Taylor. Moments after the 911 GT3R driven by Mathieu Jaminet, Matt Campbell and Felipe Nasr crossed the finishing line in front of the 488 Ferrari GT3 driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra.
AF CORSE PENALITY DRIVE-THROUGH
The race in GTD category, the mostnumerous class seen with twenty-two cars enrolled, wasmuch more linear. At the end of the 24 hours of Daytona raceway the victorywasawarded to the Wright Motorsport’s Porsche number 16 and fourth place for the Ferrari GT3 Evo 488#21 of AF Corse thatraninto a minor oversight. A penalty drive through in the finalhalf an hour for overtaking the yellow flag costed the third place to the Amato Ferrari's car and the podium for AF Corse.
