The final ranking in the GTD PRO category saw cars divided by minimal handfuls of seconds. The lucidity in understanding how to adapt to uncomfortable situations that can make you win or lose what you've worked for, was the key to the get the second step of the podium for Ferrari GT3 Evo 488 #62 of Risi Competizione

GTD - PRO category

Throughout the Rolex Daytona 24h, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Lexus, Ferrari and Porsche alternated in the lead: those last two teams were at the center of this fantastic battle! They continued to pass and counter-pass each other, after several contacts the Belgian Porsche of KCMG ended with a spin by the Risi’s Ferrari that took advantages of it with the smoking wheels, all of that just in front of Hélio Castroneves and Ricky Taylor. Moments after the 911 GT3R driven by Mathieu Jaminet, Matt Campbell and Felipe Nasr crossed the finishing line in front of the 488 Ferrari GT3 driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, Davide Rigon and Daniel Serra.

The race in GTD category, the most numerous class seen with twenty-two cars enrolled, was much more linear. At the end of the 24 hours of Daytona raceway the victory was awarded to the Wright Motorsport’s Porsche number 16 and fourth place for the Ferrari GT3 Evo 488#21 of AF Corse that ran into a minor oversight. A penalty drive through in the final half an hour for overtaking the yellow flag costed the third place to the Amato Ferrari's car and the podium for AF Corse.
