On Sunday's Feature Race, at the historic Silverstone track, the two Trident Motorsport drivers held onto the two top positions for the whole race after starting from the front row. Fornaroli led the first stage of the race without problems gaining an important advantage. However, the driver from Piacenza was unable to stem an attack by Goethe who, after the intervention of the safety car, he sailed to his first success in the FIA Formula 3 Championship win.

 Oliver Goethe says: "I am very proud and happy as I have been waiting for this moment for a long time! I want to thank the team, my family and my sponsors for the support they are giving me. Now my goal is to continue this level until the end of the season and improve my position in the standings. To get my first win in the series on a legendary track like Silverstone and in such difficult conditions is really special."

The outcome of the race was enhanced by Bortoleto's sixth place, a result which allows the leadership of the driver managed by Alonso to be strengthened at the top of the championship standings. At the moment, only thirty-six points separate him from his direct rival. The results of this Sunday at Silverstone allow Trident Motorsport to return to P1 in the Team Championship.
